ECLIPSE Model Files - Important Information

1. These model files are supplied under the terms of the Strategic UK CCS Storage Appraisal Project, funded by DECC - ETI Open Licence. By using these files you are accepting the terms of this Licence which is available at http://data.ukedc.rl.ac.uk/simplebrowse/edc/fossil/co2capture/CCS_SAP/CCS_SAP_ETI_Open_Licence.txt

2. The model files are made available 'as is' and the ETI excludes all representations, warranties, obligations and liabilities in relation to the Information to the maximum extent permitted by law. It is expected that any user of these files will be fully competent in the use of the ECLIPSE software package. The ETI or Axis Well Technology are not able to provide any support in using these files.

3. Each zipped file set includes all the data files required to run the simulation case. These incorporate the .DATA file and all required INCLUDE files. The Forties case runs from a RESTART file, which is also included in the supplied set.

4. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the necessary ECLIPSE software licences. Minimum requirements are as follows:
For the saline aquifers (Bunter 36, Captain X, Forties 5): ECLIPSE Core Simulator version 2014.2
For the depleted gas fields (Hamilton, Viking A): ECLIPSE Core Simulator version 2014.2 and ECLIPSE Compositional Simulator version 2014.2
It is expected that the models should run on all versions later than 2014.2. It is known that some models will not run on earlier versions of ECLIPSE (e.g. the RESTART file option used for Forties).

5. The Strategic UK CCS Storage Appraisal Project data set also includes Petrel Project files for each store.
