New Thames Valley Vision (NTVV)Project The New Thames Valley Vision (NTVV) project monitored the electricity network in Bracknell and tested new technologies to control how and when electricity is used. NTVV was a Low Carbon Network Fund Tier 2 project selected by Ofgem during the 2011 competitive selection process. It ran between 2012 and 2016. Focussed on the low voltage network, the NTVV aims were to demonstrate how electricity distribution networks can better serve their customers by understanding, anticipating and supporting their energy use as they move towards low carbon technologies. These data have been made available by project lead Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSE). The project website is at http://www.thamesvalleyvision.co.uk/ The NTVV data are arranged in the following subdirectories: ADR - Automated Demand Response trials in commercial buildings. EMMA - EMMA devices divert excess generation from photovoltaic panels to water heating. EPM - End point monitoring of household energy use and generation. Ice Bear - The Ice Bear device time shifts electricity use for cooling. Reports - Reports from the NTVV project relevant to these data and Profile Class Statistics about the profile of domestic and commercial participants taking part in NTVV. Substations - Monitoring data from primary and secondary substations.
